How to Do Push-Up
Push-up
build upper body and core strength. It has many modifications, beginners can
start with the easier versions, while more advanced sportsmen can use the
challenging variations. You can do push-up as part of a weight training
session, circuit training, or strength training.
STEP:
- First,
Position the body on the floor in a crawling pose.
- Position
your hands slightly wider than your shoulders. Do not lock elbows, keep them
slightly bent.
- Extend
your legs back so you are balanced on your hands and feet, feet hip-width
apart.
- Contract
your abs and tighten your core by pulling your belly button toward your spine.
- Inhale as
you slowly bend your elbows and lower yourself to the floor, until your elbows
form a 90-degree angle.
- And
finally, Exhale while tightening the chest muscles and pushing back up through
the hands, return to the starting position and repeat as needed.

tight core throughout the entire push-up. Also, keep your body in a straight
line from head to toe without sagging in the middle or arching your back.
